Walter Ray Hellard

Walter Ray Hellard, age 68, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He passed peacefully at home. Walt was of Baptist faith. He retired from Allied Signal Inc. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed fishing as well as, spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by parents, Clifford Hellard Sr. and Alice Hellard and sister, Ruth Ann Rawlinson.

Walt is survived by sons, Brian Hellard and Jason (Dawn) Hellard; grandchildren, Kaleigh and Joshua Hellard; brothers, Richard (Caren) Hellard and Clifford Jr (Melinda) Hellard and several nieces and nephews. A special thank you is extended to Pat and Alex Dodd, Sue Long, Tish Bowen, and Bill Smithson

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel.
