Victoria “Vickie” Faye Jackson, age 70, of Knoxville, TN suddenly passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Beverly Park Place Health and Rehab.
Vickie was a 1970 graduate of Young High School in South Knoxville. After her high school education, she pursued a Bachelors’ degree at East Tennessee State University. In 1974 she earned her degree, and, in the fall of 1974, she become a teacher for the Knox County School System. Vickie served her community as an educator for over thirty years. During that time, she instructed many young minds with each one holding a special place in her heart.
In her spare time, Vickie enjoyed reading. Later in life, a certain hidden mystery game held her attention on her laptop.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Gene, and Betty Jackson; her sister, Debbie; her uncle, David Jackson; grandparents, Burton, and Gertie Jackson; and aunt, Leona Lankford.
Vickie is survived by her stepmom, Pat Jackson; aunts, Betty Ann Hancock, Connie Jackson Beja, and Bobbie Jackson; great aunt, Oga Williams; cousins, Shelly K. Mize, Brady J. Dickenson, Darrell Hancock, Susan Hancock Crass, Robin Jackson, Ashley King, Kelley Lankford Kee and several special cousins and extended family members. She is also survived by her best friend, Peggy Brice-Means.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care and compassion felt at Beverly Park Place Health and Rehab in Knoxville, TN.
