Timothy James Carver Sr.

Timothy J. Carver, Sr. age 56 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at UT Medical Center.

He was born in Knoxville, TN, on September 3, 1965. Timothy was a graduate of Carter High School, class of 1984. He was employed with Meade Equipment for 16 years. Timothy was an avid outdoorsman and woodworker but, above all, he was a family man and adored spending time with his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Carver and father, Ernest Carver, Sr.

He is survived by his beloved wife and soul mate, Amy Carver; his 7 children, Tabitha (Brent), Heather, Timmy Jr. (Malaina), Matthew (Spring), Jacob (Jessie), Matt (Jade), and Natalie Jade; grandchildren, Braden, Kendra, Malaysia, Jacey Grace, Rylan, Elijah, MaKinley, Gabriel, Grayson, Carson, Avalyn, and Blaine; siblings, Buster Carver, Vineta (Butch) Elliott, Freddie (Sheila) Carver, Teresa (Doug) Shipley, Robin Bales, Crystal (Ron) Wright, Kathy (Mike) Starr, Joanna (Dickey) Smiddy, and Lynn Abbott; several special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to UT Medical Center and to Timothy’s niece, Beth Myers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel. A service will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Robin Thames, Evangelist Robert Gibson, and Lloyd Allison officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Caledonia Cemetery (7817 N. Ruggles Ferry Pike Knoxville, TN 37924) for an 11:00am graveside service.

Pallbearers: Timmy Jr., Matthew, Jacob, Matt, Braden, Fredro, Andy, and Brent.

Honorary Pallbearers: Ernest Carver Jr., Freddie Carver Sr., and Ernest Carver III.
