Thelma Anne Ryan

Thelma Anne Warden Ryan passed away December 23, 2021 at the age of 74, in the comfort of her home in Knoxville, TN.

Thelma is survived by her brother, Dan Warden; three loving sons; four grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mildred Warden; brothers, Bill Warden and Jim Warden; and sister, Katy Walker.

Thelma graduated from UT School of Nursing in 1969 and retired from UT nursing after 40 years. She was a life-long member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and enjoyed all of her church friends and family. She had a rye sense of humor and was an avid basket weaver, who enjoyed going to “the basket house” weaving baskets with her dear friend.

In memory of Thelma, a funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 W. Vine Avenue at 10:00am with Father Tim Sullivan presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ladies of Charity, 120 W. Baxter Ave, Knoxville, TN 37917.
