Teresa Laverne Wood Brockwell, age 62, of Knoxville passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022. Preceded in death by father, Thomas V Wood, Jr.; mother, Alice R Pressley Wood; brothers, Thomas V Wood, III and Ricky L Wood.   Survivors include daughters, Christina Fernandez (Miguel) and Sandra Smith (Darren); son, Terry Brockwell (Tamara); brothers, Dennis Wood (Kimberly), Darrell Wood (Marie) and Randall Shultz; sister, Susan Reece (Donny); special friends, Charlie Conklin, Sandra Wolfe and Lisa Blanc; grandchildren, Lauren, Lacy, Madison, Laurissa, Jacob, Spencer, Miguel, and Zendiya; great grandsons, Max and Thomas.  She also leaves behind her 2 dogs, Buster and Starla. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, May 12, 2022, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5301 Fountain Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37918.
