Susan Haun Obituary

Susan Hudson Eaton Haun, age 64, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2023 at UT Hospital
after a very courageous battle with cancer. Her greatest joy in life was making others happy and
her family and friends were the center of her world. She especially loved the holidays and family
gatherings. Susan was born in Cleveland, TN on March 8, 1959, but spent most of her life in
Knoxville TN before moving to Walland, TN in 2001.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles E “Gene” Hudson Jr. (1966) and Joyce Hudson
Carter (2007), sister Joyce Lockett (2019) and brother Charles E. Hudson III (2021).
Susan leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Freddie Haun, daughter Angela Eaton
Garland (Dooley), son Christopher Haun, grandchildren Samantha Starling (Tyler), Tabitha
Riseden, Dalton Gage and Emma Gage, great grandchildren Ava Starling and Cooper Starling,
sisters Merry Lou Lenzke (Don) and Carol Wear (Terry), many nieces, nephews, cousins and her
very special aunt Mary Pryse.
The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all of her doctors and their staffs at
UT Medical Center. No plans for a service are being made at this time.
