Shane Simpson

Christopher Shane Simpson, age 48 of Clinton, Tennessee passed away on Monday October 4, 2021. He was born in Knoxville in 1973 and graduated from Halls High School in 1991. Shane enjoyed whittling, going hunting and just being outside. He was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church in Halls. Shane will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Richard & Libby Carr, Betty McPherson, and Margie Simpson & Dowell Simpson.  

Shane is survived by son, Seth Simpson; fiancé, Melissa Dupree; mother, Sabra Boatman; father, Fred (Julie) Simpson; brother, Steve (Kay) Simpson; nieces, Reece & Blayne Simpson; stepbrother, Michael Stewart; and several aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm with Mike Smith officiating.
