Ruby Lois Waddell Carpenter was born August 18, 1936 to Tom and Alva Waddell. While surrounded by her children and a lot of love, Ruby went to be with the Lord at 5:40 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
Ruby was a devoted mother and will be remembered by her children as a servant. Their earliest memories of their mother was being with their father as he dropped her off to work night shift as a care giver to the wealthy.
She loved her family and friends, always giving to improve the lives of others, and continually pulling for the under dog.
In the early years of raising her children, Ruby made decisions that led her children to the foot of the Cross. Because of those life changing choices, she leaves an Apostolic legacy that lives on through the lives of her children.
She was preceded in death by the father of her four children, John Virgil Carpenter, her son, Johnny Lynn Carpenter and many other loved ones.
Left to cherish Ruby’s memory are: Daughter and Son in Law- Kip and Kathy Fowler, Son and Daughter in Law-Kenneth and Penny Carpenter, Son - Jerry Carpenter, Daughter in Law - Jeanette Carpenter, Grandchildren - Marcus Wade, John (Sonya) Fowler, Charity (Nancy) Holling, Kelly (Shannon) Cheshire, Will Carpenter, Fallon (Chad) Erickson, Lauren (Zach) Hammond, Nolan (Flannery) Carpenter, Closest Friend (who was like a sister)- Novella Waddell, a host of great grandchildren, friends, and caregivers.
The family appreciates the overwhelming outpouring of love during this season. Due to current health and safety regulations, services are being held in a private setting.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116: 15
