Robert Eugene Headder

Robert “Bob” Eugene Headder, age 81 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born in Knoxville on May 2, 1941 and is a graduate of Fulton High School, class of 1959. Bob proudly served as a captain for the City of Knoxville Fire Department. He loved going camping but loved spending time with his family most of all.

Bob is preceded in death by parents, Henry & Darothy Headder and brother, Charles Headder.

He is survived by life partner, JoAnn Dean; daughters, Kim (Ty) Amanns and Vandy (Mike) McManus; grandchildren, Kristin (Paul) Elliott and Wesley (Katherine) McManus; great grandchildren, Mason, Major, and Molly Kate Elliott; sister-in-law, Barbara Headder, niece, Charla Stone; and loved like a son, Jonathan (Kristie) Dean.

Family and friends will gather at Lynnhurst Cemetery on Saturday January 28, 2023, for a 1:00pm graveside service. The City of Knoxville Fire Department will provide honors for Bob with firefighter chaplains, Paul Trumpore and Carl Ford officiating the service.
