Obituary
Robert B. Brooks III, 78, of Powell, passed away September 5, 2023. He was born November 18, 1944, in Knoxville, TN. He served 21 years in the US Air Force and worked at Dempsters until he retired. After retiring he continued to lead a hardworking life and was a role model to many.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert B. Brooks Jr. and mother, Madge Brooks; and brother, Charles Brooks.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Brooks; son, Robert B. Brooks, IV (Kelly); daughter, Pam Foust; grandchildren, Storm Brooks (Maddy), David Brooks, Lori Foust, April Thomas (Clay), and Katie Foust; and several great grandchildren.
The family and friends will be gathering for a celebration of life on Sunday, September 10, from 4-6pm at The Loft at Black Oak Heights Baptist Church.
