Richard A. Todd

Richard A. Todd, age 70, of Knoxville, TN passed away at home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Dick grew up on Wassman Rd., went to Central High School, and studied and taught electrical engineering at U.T. He worked at Oak Ridge National Lab and at his own company, RIS Corp.

He made lifelong friends.

He was a gentle, patient, supportive man; a mentor, Granddad, dog-father, fishing buddy; an inventor, road tripper, and romantic.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, of 50 years; his son Matthew (Valerie) Todd and daughter Becky (Michael) Swanger; his sister Carol Todd; and his grandchildren Sam, Adah, Nolan, Eloise, and Sydney.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Fountain City United Methodist Church, with a service following.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fountain City Ministry Center.
