Richard Levoy Case

Richard “Rick” Levoy Case passed away at his home in Powell, TN on September 23, 2021. Rick was born in Chattanooga, TN, on November 18, 1950, to Herman and Georgia Case.

Rick attended Oliver Springs High School and graduated in 1968. After school he spent the next twenty years working for National Linen as a routeman.

Rick was a devout Christian and faithfully attended Arlington Church of Christ. He loved to read and study his bible. In his spare time, like most East Tennesseans, Rick enjoyed UT football and baseball. He enjoyed watching a good western adventure and listening to oldies music.

Rick is preceded in death by his father and mother, Herman Ray Case and Georgia Lee Kilgore Case; Wife, Patricia Pointer Case; Daughter, Amy Case; Nephew, Matthew Case.

Rick is survived by his wife, Connie Ridenour Case; Sisters, Sandra Bruce (Jim Bruce), Charlotte Davis (Dale Davis); Brothers, Randal Case, Ray Case (Pat Case); Daughters, Tracy Case and Stacy Case Wypych; Granddaughter, Dylan Celeste Singleton; Step-Sons, Paul Ridenour (Cameron, Casey, Calam), Jeff Ridenour and family, Shonda, G.C., Katelynn, Jacob, Allison, Madison, Griff, Zander and Easton, Cody and Gracie, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Arlington Church of Christ (2206 Tecoma Dr, Knoxville, TN 37917) on Friday October 1, 2021 from 6:00-7:00pm. The memorial service will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Mark Brackney officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations can be given to Arlington Church of Christ.
