Renee Campbell Lundin, 53, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday afternoon, April 19, 2021 after an illness. She was born July 8, 1967 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to Kathryn Filitti and the late Thomas Campbell.
Renee graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with the class of 2010 and became a registered nurse working in several facilities in Knoxville.
She enjoyed crocheting and loved her dogs, Pedro and Daisy. She was an avid camper, hiker and traveler. Her trip to Munich, Germany with her husband, Rob, was the highlight of her life and was looking forward to going back.
Her father, Thomas Campbell, preceded her in death.
She is survived by the love of her life, Robert Lundin whom she married October 2016. She also leaves behind her daughter, Elizabeth Abbott; her son, Austin Abbott; her mother, Kathryn Filitti; her sister, Belinda Busemeyer; her sister, Laura Reese; and stepsons, Eli and Gabriel Lundin.
A celebration of Renee’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of choice in honor of Renee.
