Michael Jeffrey LeCompte, age 77, of Knoxville TN passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022. He was born June 16, 1945 in Baltimore, MD to Rhea and Douglass LeCompte and grew up in the suburb of Catonsville. He was a graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore, MD and a member of Fountain City UMC. In recent years, he had taken up duplicate bridge and really enjoyed the challenge and his wonderful bridge partners. He enjoyed his time on Norris Lake and in Palm Coast, FL. Mike served on the boards of the Camp Koinonia Foundation and the Cerebral Palsy Center, always advocating for his special needs son, Matthew. In addition, he was a tissue donor with Tennessee Donor Services. He is survived by his wife, Carlene (Einfalt); sons, Michael (Allycia) of Rumford, ME,Clark of Millerton, NY, and Matthew Carl of Knoxville. A receiving of friends will be held Friday, August 12 from 5-7 PM at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel in Fountain City and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 13 at 1 PM at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Chase Crickenberger and Randy Frye officiating.
