Melissa Miller

Melissa Underwood Miller, 69, formerly of Columbia, TN, passed away early Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at NHC in Knoxville, TN. 

She is survived by son, Jackson Miller, and sister Mitzi Rouse, brother-in-law, Chuck Rouse, niece Natalie Gearin, husband, Brad, and nephew Preston, married to Katrina Rouse. Melissa also had one great niece, Aubrey Mae Gearin.

Originally from Mt Carmel, Tennessee, Melissa was a Communications Graduate at The University of Tennessee. She taught public relations at MTSU and worked in Tennessee politics for Justin Wilson in the Department of Conservation and then for Marsha Blackburn until her first Stroke in 2006. 

A Celebration of Life for Melissa will be held at Cokesbury Church on Saturday, April 6 at 2:00pm in the main sanctuary.
