Marjorie J. White

Marge White, 92, of Knoxville TN, passed away on March 16, 2023. She was born in Aurora, IL and spent the majority her adult life in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina and the remaining 10 years of her life in East TN.

She had a passion for dogs and horses. Marge was avid dog trainer, mainly in obedience with German Shepherds and Border Collies. When she wasn’t training dogs, she loved riding her horses and her favorite place to ride was in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Dorothy Fisher; her brother Dick Fisher; her husband of over 50 years, Carroll White; her son Mike White. She is survived by her sister Karen Fisher; her son and daughter in law Jim and Joy White; Her grandsons Bill (Heather) Adams, Brett (Amanda) Adams; her great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Blake, and Harper Adams.

The family will hold a private graveside service. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to their local Animal Shelter or Horse Sanctuary.
