Linda Miles Thompson

Linda Miles Thompson, age 69 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born in Knox County, Tennessee in 1954. Linda worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was a faithful member of West View Community Church.

Linda is preceded in death by parents, Harvey & Helen Miles and half-brother, H.G. Miles.

She is survived by husband of 51 years, Phillip W. Thompson, Jr; son, Phillip (Heather) Thompson III; grandchildren, Austin Thompson,Brandon (Lauren) Tuggle, and Hailey Tuggle and special friends, Mark & Robin Hamrick and Sarah Glenn.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at NHC Healthcare of Knoxville and Caris for the love and kindness shown to Linda.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at West View Community Church (3224 Joyce Ave. Knoxville, TN 37921). A service will follow at 6:00pm with Rev. Dan Perkins and Rev. Rick Hutchinson officiating. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 11:00am graveside service.
