Kathy Ann (Rigsby) Stanton

Kathy Ann Rigsby Stanton - age 66, passed into the loving hands of her Lord on Saturday, 1/21/23, surrounded by her family. She grew up in South Knoxville and most recently resided in Bearden. She was of the Christian faith. She was most recently employed at Dollar Tree where she was loved by both coworkers and customers.

Kathy was preceded in death by parents, David and Aneva Rigsby; and half-brother, Dan Cook.

Survived by furry son, Bob, son David (Dee) Miller, wife Tracy, grandchildren Nick and Kelsey, son Jeremy Hurst, wife Nikki, grandchildren Kendra, Mason, Lily, and Jackson. Brother David Dee Rigsby, sister Tracy Rigsby Fritz (Charles), nieces Kayla Aneva Sparks, Cameron Rae Rigsby, and Bridger Cook, and nephew, Zack Cook. Great nieces Jalynn and Skyla Rigsby and Chelsea Dee Charles. Loving neighbor and friend, Micheal Brown.

Per Kathy's wishes, no funeral service will be held but a celebration of life will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Young Williams Animal Shelter. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of 12 East at UT Medical Center for the loving care they provided to Kathy and the family.
