Joyce S. Hall, born October 24, 1933 in Mobile, AL, passed away on November 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold D. and Mabel H. Smith; siblings, Anita S. Ritchey (Rev. J. Harold Ritchey) of Evans, GA., and Norma S. Books (David E. Books) of Daphne, AL.
She is survived by her husband, Harry E. Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya H. and W. Clayton Gheen of Heiskell, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Lewis (Rhodes) and Stalene (Candie) Hall of Hopewell Junction, NY; granddaughter, Lindsay M. Gheen of Knoxville, TN.
She was a graduate of Mississippi College, Clinton, MS where she earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano. Over a span of 50 years, Harry as minister of music and Joyce as accompanist, served congregations in Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, and Tennessee. Employed for 27 years in the Office of the General Counsel, Tennessee Valley Authority.
