Jessie Ann Edge

Jessie Ann Edge, 32, of Knoxville was a bright, shining light who was taken from us too soon.  Jessie was a devoted mother, a loving daughter, an amazing sister, a dedicated partner, an awesome niece, a loyal friend, and a beautiful soul.  Jessie overcame so many hardships in her short life, but she used her struggles to become a beacon to those who needed a guiding light.  She was the rainbow after a storm.  She lived every single minute of her life, and she touched all those who ever encountered her.  She will live in our hearts forever.

Jessie leaves behind three sons: Jeremiah (14), Kaiden (12); and Riley (10); a loving mother Darnell (Todd) Holbrook; three beloved sisters: Tori Cox and Ciara Cox (Fayetteville, GA) and Zoey Taylor (Newnan, GA); a dedicated father figure, John Taylor (Newnan, GA); a devoted partner, Justin Brown; a doting aunt, Gail (Johnny) Allen (Fayetteville, GA); a mischievous cat, Onyx; and an endless list of cousins, extended family, and friends.  Jessie was pre-deceased by her father, Larry Edge (East Point, GA); maternal grandparents James (Connie) Callina (Stockbridge, GA) and Carol Hill (Bradenton, FL); and paternal grandparents Hugh (Patricia) Edge (East Point, GA).

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel. A service will follow immediately at 2:00pm with Gail Allen officiating.
