Janice Carolyn Harbin Danner
Perhaps you are reading this because someone has told you I died. Don’t believe it. Indeed my body is on it’s way back to a pile of dust, in my case, a large pile, but according to John 11:26 “Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.” I believe in Jesus! Want a list of my good deeds? It is short. I sang a few songs and taught some Sunday school lessons, made banners, loved my husband and children and adored my grandchildren. The bible says my righteousness is like filthy rags, so I chose to trust Jesus and accept his perfect righteousness imputed to me by his sacrificial death on Calvary. His shed blood paid the debt for my sin and His glorious resurrection assured that I too can have an eternal home with Him in heaven. Please join me there. I am leaving here for a while my husband John; my son, Chris and his wife, Wendy and their daughter, Sarah; my daughter, Kelly Everett and her husband, Bryon and their children, Emalyn and Nathaniel; as well as my sisters, Joyce Shupe and Hilda Mills. Waiting for me in Heaven are my mom and dad, Della and Hack Harbin; brothers Bill, Kenneth and Ronald Harbin; and sister, Elizabeth Morris. You may join my celebration of life at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel on August 18th, receiving friends and family from 12pm to 2pm with service starting at 2pm.
You may think it is strange that I wrote my own obituary, but everyone writes their own by the way they live...
Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel and Crematory is honored to serve the Danner family.
