- Frances Ailor Bean, 87, of Knoxville went to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lillian Barlow; husband, James F. Ailor; and sister, Wanda Carter. She is survived by her husband, Reverend Robert Bean; sisters, Joyce Jones (Kyle) and Sue Newman (Sam); children, Tony F. Ailor, Gary D. Ailor (Kay), Cheryl Ailor Deaver, Lisa Paul (Mike), Becky Bowman (Jerry), David Bean (Karen), Kevin Bean (Lorie), Renee Rowntree; grandchildren, Wendy Bowman (Scott), Nick Farris (Love), Christy Ashley (Mark), Jason Deaver (Amie), Cory Paul, Tyler Paul (Rebecca), Dillon Paul (Kneely), Kayla Craddock (Dillon), Chris Bowman, Bryan Bean, Trista Bean, Carman Bean, Cameron Bean, Carlee Bean, Cambree Bean; 27 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of Emerald Avenue United Methodist Church. Frances worked at Handy Dandy Market/Doan’s Market for 36 years. She will be missed dearly. Special mention to the pool ladies at Carriage Lane Condominiums and the O’Conners Singing Seniors and the Shannondale Singers. A Celebration of Life will be held at Emerald Avenue Methodist Church Friday, September 24, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a service to follow with Reverend Dennis Loy officiating. For safe gathering during the pandemic, we recommend everyone wear a mask. Burial date will be announced at a later time.
