Faye M. Dukes

Faye Maenette Dukes, age 68 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1952. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in education from Tennessee Tech University. She worked for years as a cosmetologist. Faye was so proud of her two granddaughters and loved them dearly “Lltmd”.

She is preceded in death by parents, Frederick Risher Dukes, Sr. and Norma Storey Dukes.

Faye is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Amy Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Candice Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie and Gayle Dukes; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Keith Williams; nieces, Tammy Truder and Julie Reasonover; and granddaughters, Kennedy and Linnea Davis.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to U.T. Medical Center 12th floor nurses and U.T. Hospice for all their wonderful care.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm-3:30pm on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at South Knoxville Worship Center. A Celebration of Life will follow after at 4:00pm.
