Elizabeth “Liz” Johnson from Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023 at home surrounded by close family and friends. Liz is a retired nurse from East Tennessee Children’s Hospital where she had the honor of impacting the lives of NICU babies and other children in our area.

Liz is preceded in death by her loving husband, Grover Johnson, son Donald Jones, several siblings and her parents.

Liz is survived by children Daryl Jones (GA), Gail Rollins (KY), Melinda Lusby (Knoxville), Michelle Frazer (Knoxville) and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to NHC Home Health and Covenant Health Home Care and Hospice for their excellent care and support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Elizabeth’s honor to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
