Edward McLain Rule "Mack"

Edward McLain Rule “Mack”, age 87, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. He worked in Construction Machinery until his retirement, for over 35 years. He served his country in the United States Army. Mack was a devoted husband and a friend to many. He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church.

Mack is preceded in death by his father, C. Ott Rule; mother, Eva McLain Rule; grandparents, J.A. McLain and Bertha McLain.

He is survived by wife, Eva Jean Rule; cousins, Carolyn Watson, Cheryl Whitson, and Ronnie Rule; sister-in-law, Wanda (Verlan) Troutt; brother-in-law, Jack Shipe; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet at the entrance to Lynnhurst Cemetery at 12:45pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 for a 1:00pm graveside service. Rev. Hartsell McCurry and Dr. Allen England will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Clear Springs Baptist Church or to a charity of their choice.
