Edward Orick Obituary

Edward Bernes Orick, age 71 of Clinton, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center. He was born in Lafollette, Tennessee in 1950. Edward loved Nascar racing, Tennessee football, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Hazel Phillips.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Elaine Orick; children, Misty (Nathan) Kessler, Christina (Shane) Scheuerman, Mary Schiely, and Thomas Rhodes; beloved brother, Bob (Butch) Nadine Daugherty; several special grandchildren and one great-grandson.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Greg Chandler, The Hospitality House of OR and the ICU staff of Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center.

A private family memorial is being planned.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Edward’s wife, Mary Orick to help cover funeral expenses.
