Obituary
Dr. Suneetha Mooss, age 53, of Knoxville, TN, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
She was born to Vasudevan and Savithry Mooss in India in 1970. She earned her Medical Degree from the University of Illinois in 1995 and completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. For over fifteen years, she owned and practiced at Pediatric Consultants of Lenoir City, Tennessee.
She is survived by her daughters, Kirren and Kyla Miller; parents, Savithry and Vasudevan Mooss; sister, Susmita Mansukhani; brother, Sujay Mooss; brother-in-law, Sanjay Mansukhani; nephews, Rohan and Sachin Mansukhani.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel and Crematory (5301 Fountain Rd Knoxville, TN 37918). A private religious ceremony for the family will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
