Doris "Meem" Stern Obituary

Doris “Meem” Franklin Stern, of Knoxville, TN born March 25, 1930 passed away on April 16, 2021. Doris was a graduate of Young High School; Class of 1948, and a long-time member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jon William Stern and daughter Kristi Lynn Stern.

She is survived by her son, Jon Mikel Stern; daughter and son-in-law, Karin Elise and Allen Buckner; grandchildren whom she adored, Margaret Stern Mckee and husband Zack, Evan Taylor Buckner and wife Elizabeth; five great grandchildren, six nieces and nephews.

There will not be any services held. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Young Williams Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society.
