Donna Hart Obituary

The backbone of her family, supportive wife, selfless mother of 4, and loving nana Donna Keck Hart, 60, of Ten Mile, Tennessee passed away on Thursday March 18, 2021 at the University of Tennessee hospital after a year long battle against Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living to the fullest, loving unconditionally, and giving with a selfless heart.

She was born on May 2, 1960 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Ross and Bobbie Keck. As the only daughter in the family, she spent her childhood playing with her brothers and helping her mother prepare meals for her father and brothers. After graduating from Halls High School in 1978 she found her soul mate and adventure partner for life at the age of 29, when she married William Ray Hart, they shared many adventures together from vacations, adventures to Las Vegas, concerts, spontaneous camping trips, and houseboating in Georgia. They built a loving family and beautiful home together, Donna’s attention to the tiniest details that made everyone feel loved and apart of her life. Donna and Ray worked hand in hand and built a successful family business together which she took much pride in.

The simplest pleasures in life brought Donna great joy. She loved a sunset boat ride with her husband, family, and friends. Donna enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family, and hosting events and parties. Her humor will not be forgotten as she was known for surprising family and friends with hilarious gag gifts or interactive toys to bring everyone together. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in all her daily activities. Road trips with her husband, shopping trips with her daughter, meals out with her sons, and camping trips with her grandchildren are all fond memories that her loved ones will hold dear.

Donna's love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Her personality was contagious to everyone she met, and her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you.” Her spirit continues to live on through the countless lives she has touched.

Donna is survived by her husband of 30 years, William Ray Hart of Ten Mile, TN; sons, Paul Chapman Smith Jr. of Clarksville, TN, Jonathan Hart and wife Heather of Knoxville, Tn, Jeremy Hart and wife Jessica of Chattanooga, Tn; daughter, Megan Hart Brummett and husband Andrew of Ten Mile, TN,; brothers, Ronald Keck Sr. and wife Shirley of Sneedville, Tn, Mike Keck and Norma of Marynardville, Tn, Mark Keck and Kathy Keck of Powell, Tn; grandsons, Caiden Hart, Braylon Hart and Rylin Hart of Knoxville, Tn; granddaughters, Kambria Settlemyer of Savannah, Ga, Kyrstin Smith and Kennedy Smith of Clarksville, Tn. and her favorite hamburger eating, Anatolian Shepard Buddy, and her sidekick Yorkie Bella.

Donna is predeceased by: Her parents Ross Guy Keck and Bobbie Jean Keck, along with her brother Garry Joe Keck.

A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Family and close friends will be contacted personally with time, place and date.
