Donald Wiggins Obituary

Donald Wayne Wiggins, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 4, 2023, with friends and family by his side. Donnie was born August 3, 1952, in Amarillo, TX. His family moved to Tucumcari, NM, where he attended grade school and graduated from Tucumcari High School. He attended New Mexico State University but decided he wanted to drive a truck. He drove for the next 43 years, before retiring from Pilot Flying J in 2017, where he met his wife. They got married March 17, 2017, in Las Vegas, NV, and he moved to Tennessee.

Donnie loved to travel and watch baseball with his bride. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Olga Wiggins.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Wiggins; sisters, Sandi (Dan) Bonesteel of Brunswick, MD, Janice (Bud) Allred of Wildorado, TX; brother, Ron Wiggins of Albuquerque, NM; best friend, Richard Primrose of Tucumcari, NM; step daughter, Kaylin (Matt) Reid; brother in law, Boyd (Mindy) Peters; father in law, James Peters; and mother in law, Jean Brewer, all of Knoxville, TN.

A private celebration of life will follow on a later date.
