Bettie O. Floyd

Bettie O. Floyd – passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 91. Those that met her at Heaven’s Gate were her parents, Guy and Helen Giles: her beloved husband, Paul Owens; her second husband and lifetime friend, Malcom Floyd; her son who she deeply missed, Brad Owens; brother, G. T. Giles; and sisters, Wilda, Earline, Jane Ann, and Glenda.

She was a member of Arlington Church of Christ, Norwood Garden Club, Ossli, Racheff House and Gardens, where she took care of the Gift Shop and The Children’s Garden.

Survivors include daughter, Susan (Rick) Collins; grandchildren, Brandon (Haylee) Owens, Lyndsay (Brian) Smith, Ben (Megan) Collins, and Andy (Lauren) Collins;great grandchildren, Lilly, Ella, Piper, Paxton, Pierce, Seth, Harper, and Kinsley.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, December 12th at 4:00 pm at Arlington Church of Christ with Rev. Mark Brackney officiating. Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel and crematory is honored to serve the Floyd family. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.gentrygriffey.com
