Bernice M. Chandler

Bernice M. Chandler, 89, of Powell, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021. She will be remembered for her strength, beauty, and kindness. Bernice’s love for her family was unshakable and she had a positive and lasting impact on those who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Chandler.

Bernice is survived by her loyal daughters, Barbara Chandler and Sandra Nave (John); loving grandchildren, Jonathan (Alanna) and Madison (Paul); and many cherished friends.

The family will receive friends at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 1st from 11:00am-1:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment will follow the service on Friday, October 1st at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made in her name to Audubon Society.
