Benjamin DeWayne Greenwell

Benjamin “Ben” DeWayne Greenwell, age 59 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. He was born in Erin, Tennessee in 1962. He graduated high school and then went on to get a bachelor’s degree in engineering and later became a self-employed engineer. Benjamin was a member of Clapps Chapel Methodist Church.

He is survived by wife of 41 years, Dannette; sons, Joshua (Rebekah), Ian, and Trey (Erica); daughters, Sydney and Alexis; grandchildren, Keylei, Alex, Liam; and parents, James and Evelyn.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Clapp's Chapel United Methodist Church. A service will follow at 4:00pm with Dr. Chris Stanfield officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Clapp's Chapel Media Fund.
