On July 9th, 4 days after her 63rd wedding anniversary, Barbara Moore Williams unexpectedly passed away surrounded by family.
Barbara was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and attended Young High School. She attended the University of Tennessee where she met the love of her life, Cliff. After graduating, she worked at the UT library, but her passion was being with children. She was a lead Sunday school teacher at St. John's Episcopal Church, a substitute teacher at Sterchi Elementary School, and an amazing Mom and Nana.
Barbara loved her family and friends deeply, supporting and caring for each one in a selfless way. She especially loved her grandchildren and led by her loving example of kindness and fun-loving acts. The world was a better place with her in it; there is a special angel watching over us now.
We will miss you Barbara, Mom, Nana, Nana Barbs, and Auntie Barb.
