Obituary
Barbara Ann (Hughes) Tapp, born October 10, 1938, in Newark, New Jersey, passed away on August 5, 2023, in Norris, TN.
Barbara earned a Bachelor’s degree in teaching at the University of South Florida and later became a teacher at Halls Middle School. She was also a member of Norris Religious Fellowship.
Our dear mother was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed teaching and inspiring future generations. She will be greatly missed.
Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Barry G. Hughes.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby L. Tapp; brother, James Wells Giandelia of Camden, SC; son, David Hughes of Norris, TN; daughters, Catherine McComb of Chugiak, AK, and Susan Kerby of Yadkinville, NC; grandchildren, Ben McComb, Eric McComb, Adam McComb, Patrick McComb, and Emily Matney.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to UT Hospice for their care of Barbara.
