Albert "Steve" Lamb

Albert “Steve” Lamb, 71, passed away at his home in Maynardville, TN surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. A loving husband, brother, and father of 2 children, Steve was born on September 15th, 1951, in Knoxville, TN to AJ and Jessie Lamb. He attended Horace Maynard High School as well as the University of Tennessee prior to making his living as a small engine mechanic, tobacco farmer, and all-around handyman. He served as a member of the local J. C. Baker Masonic Lodge just as his father before him, and notably earned recognition for 50 years of service as a Freemason. Steve was an avid collector of all things interesting and enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, bird watching, and reading countless books from the local library. Steve was preceded in death by his father, AJ, and mother, Jessie. He is survived by his wife Tammy, his sister Vickie, his daughter Lauren, and his son Joshua. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM followed by the funeral at 7:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church at the corner of Bud Hawkins and Shipe Rd in Corryton, TN.
