Albert Hale Christopher

Albert Hale Christopher or "Chris" passed away on January 19, 2023. He was born on September 19, 1926, in Sevierville. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gatlinburg and a long-time former member of Central Baptist Church in Fountain City. Chris was a veteran serving in the Army during WWII, December 1944 to November 1946. Afterwards he used his GI Bill and attended UT Knoxville to graduate with a BS in accounting. In Gatlinburg, in later years, he was a successful business owner with his wife Lois, operating several shops in Sevierville and Gatlinburg. He is preceded in death parents, John and Annie Christopher, two brothers: Clarence and John, three sisters: Mildred, Dorothy, and Lois. He is also proceeded in death by his wife Lois. He is survived by his daughters Jo Ann and Karen Christopher, also 5 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. Special thanks to Windsor Ridge Assisted Living where he spent his last years with their love and care. Graveside service 10:00AM January 24 at Smokey Mountain Memorial Garden, Pigeon Forge.
