EARL, JAMES CARL - age 81 of Knoxville, went to sleep here and woke up in Heaven early Tuesday morning, May 19, 2020. Jim was a member of Horse Valley Cowboy Church. He had lived with his caring son Jeffrey and wife Alice since the passing of his beloved wife in 2012. He is survived by his six children: Carla (Mike) Lee, James (Regina) Earl Jr., Tony (Gwyn) Earl, Jeffrey (Alice) Earl, Dean (Tracy) Earl, and Jean Earl Widby. He left behind 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, all of which loved their Papaw Jim dearly. Surviving siblings include brothers, Eulas (Virginia) Earl, Charles Earl, A.D. (Sharon) Earl; sister, Sally Davis. Mr. Earl was preceded in death by: his loving wife Peggy Nicely Earl, parents, Alvin and Lula Earl, and brothers, Jack, Pete, Clyde, and Duncan. He will be missed by each and every person who was blessed to have known him. Family will have a private graveside service. It was Jim's wish that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Angelic Ministries International, P. O. Box 3034, Knoxville, TN., 37927.
