Zeno Holston Brown Jr. (Sign Guestbook)

Zeno Holston Brown, Jr., age 67 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2018. He was born on April 24, 1951 to the late Mary Johnson Brown and Zeno Holston Brown Sr. Zeno was a graduate of Holston High School and the University of Tennessee, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Zeno retired from Pattison Sign Group where he served as a project manager. He was a member of Fountain City United Methodist Church. Zeno is survived by his wife, Liz Schantz Brown; his daughter, Lauren and son, Ames (Lauren Shea); grandsons Landon and Aiden; sisters, Mary Brown Townsend, Nancy Brown (Terry) Virginia Beach, VA, Martha Brown Rogers of Atlanta, GA and several nieces and nephews. Zeno found peace and joy trout fishing in the streams of Cherokee, NC. His true passion throughout his life was golf. He played on the Holston High golf team which won the Tennessee State high school golf championship. Zeno continued to enjoy golf at Holston Hills Country Club where his love of the sport began while playing with his father at the age of five. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 6-7 at Fountain City United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life service will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to FCUMC Capital Campaign fund, 212 Hotel Rd., Knoxville, T N 37918 or First Tee of Greater Knoxville, 2351 Dandridge Ave., Knoxville, TN 37915.
