William (Bill) A. Walker Sr. (Sign Guestbook)

William A. (Bill) Walker Sr, age 75, passed away on October 5, 2018. He was born on January 9, 1943. Bill was retired from H.T. Hackney. He loved farming, his church, and the Gibbs community. He was a member of Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his son William A. (Buddy) Walker Jr. Survived by his wife, Barbara C. Walker; daughter, Carrie L. Wheeler and husband Larry; grandchildren, Rylie and Wesley; sister, Sarah Watts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11th from 6-8 pm at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 12th at 11 am at Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church with a graveside to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church building fund (7420 Clapps Chapel Road, Corryton, TN 37721).
