Wayne Dennis (Sign Guestbook)

Dennis, Wayne, 83, of Knoxville, born April 16, 1935, passed away November 20, 2018 peacefully into the arms of Yeshua, at home with his family after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was a veteran whose priorities were God, Family and Country. Though he faced many battles throughout his life such as diphtheria as a child and various other challenges, he remained faithful to God and a blessing to his family. As Stuart Scott said, “When you die, that doesn’t mean you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner you live.” Wayne set an example for his family and others that will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and his family looks forward to being reunited with him in heaven. He was preceded in death by his parents Grace Price & Jess Dennis; Aunt, Rockie Mae Dennis; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy & Bill Henderson. Wayne is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Glenda & Neal Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa & Doug Blair, Jr.; granddaughter, Lashandra Blair; grandson , Douglas “Trey” Blair, III and his wife, Amber; great grandchildren, Mariah, Mechai, Josiah and Arie Blair; nieces, Teresa Burns, Marcy Long and her husband Bobby; and several great and great great nieces and nephews. No services have been scheduled.
