W. Sue Lamb (Sign Guestbook)

Wanda Sue (Faulkner) Lamb, age 73, passed away suddenly on October 17, 2017. She was born on April 29, 1944, to Ross and Ruby Faulkner. She was a graduate of Powell High School, class of 1962. Sue served as a waitress for many years at Denny’s on Merchant’s Rd, and Ruby Tuesday. An avid UT fan, Sue will be remembered as a Vol For Life.

Sue is survived by four children, Jeff Lamb, Timmy Lamb, Marlena (Len) Haithcock, Mark (Kim) Lamb; brothers, James (Linda) Faulkner, Eddie (Teresa) Faulkner; sister, Linda (Bob) Mark; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special, life-long friend, Barbara Evans. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all her family and many friends. Sue is celebrating in heaven today with her parents and two grandchildren.

The family will Receive Friends on Thursday, October 19th at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel from 5:45-6:45pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 7 pm, with Pastor Jonathan Tharpe officiating. We will meet at New Gray Cemetery on Friday, October 20th at 3 pm for a Graveside Service.
