Tiffany L. Pruitt Cates (Sign Guestbook)

Tiffany L. Pruitt Cates, age 30 of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully at UT Medical Center on Tuesday July 16th after battling pelvic and bone cancer she developed an infection and could not fight any longer. She was saved and baptized in Oakridge, TN. Tiffany was a wonderful mother and loved her son and family whole heartedly. She was a loving and caring person and loved people and would do anything she could to help those in need. Tiffany attended West High School and a member of Honey Rock Victorious Church International. She was a certified flagger and worked for Labor Finders.

Tiffany is preceded in death by her dad David Sharp; grandparents Bernard Davis, Peggy and Johnny Sharp; and sister Stacy Cooper.

She is survived by her loving husband Maurice Cates; son Maraese Sharp; mother Pamela Davis; grandmother Joretta Davis; brothers Brent Davis, David Sharp, Astin Cooper; sister Pamela Mills; nieces and nephews Eugene, Anthony, Peyton, Nevaeh, Divan, Colby, Aden, Heaven, Jazmine and Ava; several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at UT Medical Center for everything they did during Tiffany’s fight.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 22, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel with a service to follow at 8pm. Graveside will be 10:00am, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Roseberry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral arrangements.
