John Daniel Cleveland (Sign Guestbook)

John Daniel Cleveland, 69, of Knoxville, passed away December 6, 2018.  He was born December 18, 1948 in Columbus, MS. to Thomas Franklin & Mercedes Houston Cleveland.  John proudly graduated from Ole Miss and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters Degree in Counseling.  He was an active member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. John was a UT Hospital employee for many years and loved meeting so many people everyday.  He loved his God, his family, and studying scripture.  John is survived by his wife of 23 years, Becky; children, Curt, Carter, Casey, Clancy; grandchildren, Jordan, Teon, Austin and Bailey; sister, Sara Ann Owen of Hattiesburg, MS.; brother, Tom Cleveland of Nashville, TN.; and many nieces and nephews.                                                                                                        A special thank you to Tina Dominick who is like a 3rd daughter and provided such special care.   Also, thank you to NHC Fort Sanders who has the most incredible staff.  Their love and compassion speaks volumes.  Lastly, thank you to Dr. Raymond Dieter and the University Cardiology Group, Dr. Doug Hembree, Dr. Bret Rogers, Dr. Stan Pozega.  Services will be held at a later date.
