Jerry D. Lewis (Sign Guestbook)

Jerry D. Lewis (63) born on November 4th, 1954 to George and Mildred Lewis (both deceased). Jerry graduated from Carter High School in 1972 and first to claim the phrase, “Four Way In and No Way Out”! Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his mother and father in law James and Dot Wade. He is survived by wife of 44 years, Jamie Wade Lewis; sons and daughters in law, Jim and Leann, and Jeremy and Tonya; grandchildren, Mason and Baylee; brothers Chris, Mike, and George; and many cousins, relatives, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 22nd at 6 pm at North Knoxville Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Grindstaff and Pastor Joe Emmert officiating. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Jerry’s special needs grandson, Mason’s Autism Fund, with whom he had a special bond.     Jamie and family, I want you all to know how much Jerry meant to my family. Jacob called me last night and said “mom..Jerry treated me so good…I think he and I are best friends”.       Carol, thank you so much for sharing this. Jerry had a heart for children like no one I’ve ever known. EVERY child. No matter what the situation. He might not have been perfect but I loved that man like no other because of his support of mason and I and this just really blessed me today. We miss y’all and love you.

    I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Jerry Lewis. I am truly sorry for the loss that your family is feeling. When ever we lose such a caring and loving person, it is the hardest thing that any of us can go through. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assurance in this wonderful promise that God holds out to each of us. He promise us that very soon, he is going to reunite us back with all those loved ones that we have lost.
