Jacquelyn Josephine Miller (Sign Guestbook)

Jacquelyn Josephine Miller, passed away on November 17, 2019, just after her 81st birthday. Jackie leaves behind her son, Randy and daughter-in-law Renee’, her daughter Toni, and her daughter Jamie, and son-in-law, Mike. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Charlsey, Corey and Madison.

The toughest little lady in a little size 5 shoe;

The one who got it done, what the others couldn’t do.

Voted “Worlds’ Best Mom” 60 years now in a row;

And always snagged “Top Nana” when it came to best of show.

She loved to laugh, she loved the Lord, and loved her family;

Made everyone around her feel a sense of harmony.

She always found the limelight, and she starred on radio;

She modeled and she made her mark so everyone would know.

She opened up a hair salon, her hairdos were a rave;

She rode a sense of fashion in a Permanent Wave.

She felt at home with normal folks, or with celebrities;

Was just as fine with lobster as she was with cottage cheese.

She wrote great songs, and sang along, rode in a few parades;

Was one great cook…she wrote the book…her legend never fades.

She had the knack of making everyone around her smile;

And always for her family, she’d go the extra mile.

You’d never see it coming from this tiny dynamite;

That’s why Jackie Miller’s memory will always burn so bright.

A service celebrating Jackie’s amazing life will be held at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel, 5301 Fountain Road in Knoxville, on Saturday, December 7th from 2-4 pm. Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Miller family and invites you to view and sign the online registry below.
