Bobby P. Lucas (Sign Guestbook)


Bobby Phillip Lucas, age 92, left this Earth on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.  Bob was born in Pearisburg, VA to the late J.W. and Elizabeth Lucas.  He and his beloved wife Maureen Lucas resided in Knoxville where they were members of the Fountain City Presbyterian Church. He retired from the State of Michigan where he was a benefits counselor and moved to Knoxville in the 1982 where he met Maureen.  Bob was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

He is preceded in death by his sisters Martha Lucas Hocking, Frances Lucas Brotherton, and Wiley Lucas Santolla, and his brothers Allen Woodson Lucas, and Jesse “Bud” Lucas.

Bob leaves behind a daughter, Patrice Lucas Bostic of Pearisburg, VA; son Bobby “Mike” Lucas of Knoxville and son Dwight Lucas of Woodstock, GA; step-daughter Mary Williamson Shortt of Marietta, GA ; step-son Hugh Williamson of Farragut; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family invites you to gather with them on Friday, December 22nd at 1pm at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel for a Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in his memory to the Salvation Army. You may view and sign the online guestbook below.
