I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Talley passing away. I will always remember her. She was my first grade teacher at Oakwood Elementary. I was so afraid of going to school and she was so sweet.

It is an honor to celebrate the life of an amazing mother, sister, aunt, daughter and grandmother with you! We love you all as if you were our own family! Know that while we celebrate, we also grieve with and for you!

  6. Angie Powell says:

I will always remember Mrs. Neal. She was my 5th grade teacher. She even drove me to school for a while. I remember learning about Alaska from the stories she told about her daughter who lived there. She never gave up when math, especially fractions, became difficult for me. After I became a teacher myself, I would visit her to get ideas and advice.
Mrs. Neal was a dear friend, teacher, and mentor to my whole family!
My heart goes out to the whole Neal family.

Sorry to hear of Aunt Betty’s passing. I have many great memories of our many vacation visits to Knoxville. I know she is now free – dancing with the angels, reunited with Uncle Boyd, Pat, and her sister and my mom, Barbara. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Betty’s family.
