Jack J. Jodlowsky (Sign Guestbook)

Jack J. Jodlowsky, age 69, of Bean Station, TN, died peacefully surrounded by loving family members at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, in Knoxville, TN on Friday night, February 2, 2018. His passing came after a hard-fought battle with many illnesses including multiple myeloma and calciphylaxis.

Jack, the son of Joseph and Cleo (Shippy) Jodlowsky, was born on March 17, 1948 in Acosta, PA. Jack served in the United States Airforce as an E4 Buck Sargent, final rank prior to honorable discharge, from 1967-1971 stationed in Panama City.

After returning to the United States, Jack moved to Michigan where he was employed at Ford Motor Company and owned his own cellular phone business. He married his second wife Deborah (Dobie) Hill, on August 25, 1984. Jack and Deborah raised a uniquely blended family, including their children from their first marriages, a grandson who Jack looked upon as a son since age 2 and two grandchildren that they currently have custody of. Jack was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle and son who will be sadly missed in the years to come.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Deborah; son, Jeff (Shawna) Jodlowsky of Bean Station, TN; daughters, Jackie (Chris) Gayer of Los Anegeles, CA and Gine Jodlowsky of Southgate, MI; step-son, Trevor Hill of Brownstown, MI; step-daughters, Annette Montgomery and Meghan Hill or Dandridge, TN; son (grandson) Anthony “A.J.” Cocco of Bean Station, TN; granddaughter, Tabby Hill of Bean Station, TN; grandson, Brent Hill of Bean Station, TN; brother, Jerry (Rhonda) Jodlowsky of Milan, MI; sister, Nita (Bill) Baughman of Oscoda, MI; nephew, Jimi Baughman of Oscoda, MI; niece, Jessie Baughman of Oscoda, MI; and former wife, Sharon Littman of Trenton, MI. He is preceded in death by parents; brother, Joseph “Joey” Jodlowsky; and niece, Jennifer Jodlowsky-Fracassa.

Jack wished to be cremated and Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel and Crematory have taken care of his wishes. Family and friends will be celebrating Jack’s life on what would have been his 70th birthday on March 17, 2018. You are invited to view and sign the online guestbook below.
