Chris, my old friend. I deeply sad to see you go. I wish I could be there to say goodbye. I will never forget when I met you in physical science, 6th period, 9th grade. And I will never forget when we parted ways to take on life after graduation. I won’t forget your witty jokes, or your insane ability to always best me in Class. I think we shared 5 classes together over 4 years, talked every day, gave each other advice, argued, picked on each other, laughed, shared secrets about our friends, but most of all you had and will always have a place in my heart forever. I will remember you that way and I am truly sorry for never knowing your struggle later on in life. My deepest sympathies to the family.

  26. D. Harris says:

  27. Kelly & Jo, Stephanie & Josh says:

Chris will forever be in our hearts as the wonderful young man/cousin/nephew that he was – so intelligent and funny, and always polite. We will always cherish the time Chris spent with us at Holden Beach. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Miller family at this most difficult time, and Morgan, we will always be here for you.

  28. Judy Benik says:

I remember the fine fun loving friend of Dustin’s. Always active and running here and there. He was a delight to have in our home and always thanked me for driving them somewhere. My son and Chris shared the same silly sense of humor. I feel very sad for your (and our) loss. May he rest in the peace he deserves. God bless him.

    • David Miller says:

Phil, thank you so much for your kind thoughts. We are devastated, but we will get through it. We’re just glad that Chris had such great joy and friends for most of his time here on Earth, and glad that his pain is over now. I don’t know that anyone ever disliked Chris, and it’s truly a shame that someone with so many friends that loved him had to leave here in such a lonely state. We loved him so. I hope Corey has gotten word of Chris’s passing, and I hope you all are doing well. Love you all. Keep safe.
